Mobile Children’s Archery Parties
We can come to you, our mobile children’s archery parties can be run indoors or outdoors at a venue you hire for your child’s party. We provide all the equipment needed to run a safe and fun archery session using real bows and arrows.
Do you have a local Sports/Community/School or Church hall that you would like to have an archery party in, or maybe you have a large private outdoor space? If you have a venue in mind, we can assess it’s suitability.
We work with children aged 8 years old upwards (9th Birthday).
Outline of a Typical Archery Party:
All our mobile children’s archery parties start by getting all the children kitted out with equipment, we then give them a safety briefing and a quick demonstration of the correct shooting technique.
Instructors will then help participants to get shooting safely and confidently. Then once everyone’s hitting the target and shooting as a group, we will try some archery shooting games (Balloon assassin is always a favourite!).
Once all the children have had plenty of practice targeting the gold we’ll finish off the session with a fun competition with personalized certificates for everyone taking part, medals for the top three archers and an extra little gift of an arrow pen for the birthday boy or girl. The archery will last approximately 75 minutes.
For safety and enjoyment, our mobile children’s archery parties are generally limited to a maximum of 12 participants. At our indoor venue is Archway we can accommodate more.
Suitable Venues:
You would need to hire a suitable school/sports/community/church hall that would need to be at least 15m long by 8 meters wide (preferably a little bigger). It will need to have a solid wall in the direction we are shooting with no windows or glass doors in this direction. This is so we can put our archery netting in front of the wall, this goes behind the targets, and protects the surrounding area from arrows if they should miss the target.
We will need approximately 30 – 40 minutes either side of the archery session for setting up and packing down, so you would need to hire the venue for a minimum of 2.5/3 hours. We will also need parking on site as close to the entrance as possible as we have a lot of heavy equipment to unload. You will need to email us over a few pictures and measurements of the space, so we can assess its suitability.
