Have a Go Archery Lessons
We run regular Have a Go Archery Lessons throughout the year on Monday and Friday evenings and also Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons. These Have a Go lessons are usually run during our regular club sessions at our great indoor venue in Archway North London.
Our Archery Have a Go taster lessons are relaxed and a lot of fun. They are suitable for complete beginners and are mainly aimed at adults, although we can cater for older children aged 10yrs upwards when shooting alongside an adult. The sessions are a great way to try out Archery and get a real feel for our club.
The sessions last for 60 minutes.

Our Have a Go Archery Lessons can also be purchased as a gift voucher.
About Your Session:
The Have Go lessons are taught in small group with a maximum of 8 people being coached, so that everyone gets plenty of one to one coaching as well as part of the group, and most importantly lots of shooting time! We start by getting everyone equipped, giving a short safety briefing and a demonstration of the correct shooting technique using recurve bows and shooting barebow. We then get you all shooting safely and confidently, and then after you’ve had plenty of practice we will teach you how to score, and finish off the session with a fun competition.
Please note:
These sessions are generally aimed at adults, although we can accommodate children with a minimum age of 10 years old when shooting alongside an adult who is also shooting. Anyone under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian to attend with them. For younger children aged 9 years old upwards, please take a look at our Children & Family Archery Club.
Places are limited on these sessions and tend to fill up fast, so to avoid disappointment early booking via our website is recommended.
All our Have Go Archery Lessons are available to purchase as a gift voucher. So why not get your friend or loved one something different!
